    Veterans Services

We are committed to those who are dedicated

    to service of our country

If you served in the Armed Forces, we are honored to meet your job search and training needs.

Honorably discharged veterans and eligible spouses are afforded priority services in our system. Priority of services means that your needs take precedence over other job seekers. Should you need personal one-on-one assistance while job seeking, a workforce staff member will be made available to assist you.

Priority of services also extends to processing times for programs administered by Workforce Solutions, such as the WIOA program.

Your application will be moved to the top of our application waitlist and processed at an expedited rate.

    WIOA Program

Workforce Solutions East Texas can provide many services to adults with barriers to employment through our WIOA Program (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act). This program allows us to provide job skills for our future job seekers. We can do this by providing paid work experience, on-the-job training, work readiness courses, and scholarships for school! In order to be eligible, you must meet the income requirement and/or have a barrier to employment. Due to your status, you will have priority of service if you decide to apply for this program.

Visit our Camp V Access Point!

Our Access Point partner locations have a Workforce Solutions resource area where job seekers can register for WorkInTexas.com, receive assistance with job search, resume writing, workshops, and access to resources during the service hours listed below.
